What are you going are you going to take from this class that you think will be helpful in future endeavors?

The number one thing that I will take away from this class is my learned ability not only to write a speech but be confident in my material and present it. I have moved passes my fear about speech presenting and now feel that I would be able to present material that I have researched in any class that I attend. I will definitely use the positive calming exercises and mental exercises on viewing my experiences as positive and successful. The research concepts that I learned were also invaluable. I am always open to learning knew and correct ways to research assignments and materials. My knew persuasive speaking skills will also lend a great hand the next time I go to a job interview of have to defend my opinions or views. I will also continue to practice with my media presentations and keeping myself calm enough during my speech to keep myself fully aware of slides and media that is part of my presentation

  1. i agree with a lot of what you say when it comes to confidence with your material. I spoke about how important preparing was and I think that if you prepare well confidence comes with knowing the material. I also agree with the calming exercises as being useful and I think I not only use them in future speeches but also before tests and other high stress situations. I like how you relate the ideas to the future with job interviews as well, I never thought of that but I could not agree more. All in all I agree with a lot of what you said good job.

  2. I agree with both of you. I talked about the fact that I learned a lot about myself and feeling confident with my presenting skills. There were so many concepts that we learned throughout the semester that we will all use in the future but the most valuable for me is the fact that I will feel more comfortable in front of a group. I completely agree with you about using the skills in job interviews as well. You both give very good points and I completely agree with what was said.
